This Business Development Lead position is based in Tokyo, Japan and will be responsible for driving the strategic growth and development of our client in the Japanese market. This is a high-level role that will work closely with the leadership team to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, build key customer and partner relationships, and oversee all business development activities in Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy
- Leverage existing relationships and build new connections with key decision-makers, influencers, and potential partners in the aviation industry
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company's long-term growth objectives
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other high-profile engagements
Specific Requirements:
- Native-level Japanese language proficiency, as well as fluency in English
- 10+ years in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of success and connections within the aviation/airports
- Deep understanding of the Japanese business landscape, including key players, industry dynamics, and cultural nuances
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions
